Since 1992 Angling Technics has been a powerhouse in the bait boat industry.
Our original bait boat design is still going strong, albeit with a modern twist or two!
The Microcat MK1, MK2 and MK3 followed, with the compact design of the Procat making an appearance to cater for those who needed a smaller boat.
Our Technicat and Microcat HD were launched to huge acclaim as the Technicat MK2 is widely accepted as the best single hopper bait boat on the market, and it remains one of our best sellers.
In 2024 the business was sold and the new owners set about restoring Angling Technics as the best UK bait boat manufacturer.
The Stabilize bankware range was launched, making use of our new UK CNC and machining capability, offering rod pods, bivvy pegs, weigh bars and boat lifting hooks.
A new UK service and repair centre was opened and you can now get your AT boat serviced by the people that made the boat in the first place!
With HUGE plans in the pipeline, Angling Technics goes from strength to strength!
In 2025 we added Castaway PVA & Deception Angling to the Angling Technics Group.
Both Castaway & Deception are highly respected brands and huge across Europe.
Castaway PVA products are now made exclusively in the UK at our Wiltshire Headquarters, we make PVA mesh and refills in various sizes, solid PVA bags, PVA Cable Ties, and lots more.
Deception Tackle is the most used terminal tackle brand in the whole of Europe and we now have outlets across 20+ different countries.
